It’s become really sad to watch my once favorite Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Kim Richards…fall from grace. Ever since her arrest earlier this year Kim just can’t seem to get her shit together! After attending rehab and walking out on Dr Phil, Kim Richards we all though was on the road to recovery. However after ditching rehab, ruining her daughters wedding, and getting arrested yet again at Target, its safe to say that Kim Richards isn’t even close to rock bottom.
With rumors swirling that Kim Richards is living in her car, following her walkout from her what 9th rehab stint (I seriously lost count,) It looks like there is even worse news surrounding Kim Richards. Richards who was suppose to appear in court earlier this week….completely no showed! Kim ever so quick to come up with excuses lately, blamed an injured foot for her no show. But lets be honest, Kim clearly was just simply not sober enough to be in court!
“She didn’t attend because she had some sort of injury to her foot, and therefore couldn’t appear,” A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office revealed to People Magazine “The judge accepted the explanation and allowed her attorney to appear on her behalf.”
According to this spokesman, Kim Richards was offered a plea deal which she ultimately denied. The deal that was offered to her was actually a really good one if you ask me. It included 52 AA meetings (which Kim clearly needs,) 30 days of community service, and 36 months on probation. Its clear that the only reason that Kim Richards would deny this offer is because well she just can’t seem to keep the bottle down!
Under the plea agreement Kim Richards would be subject to random drug tests by her probation officer, if she were to fail a drug test for alcohol she would be immediatly punished and put in jail for a few weeks. This clearly is the part of the plea deal that Kim Richards rejected, I mean going to rehab to try and save your job is one thing, but being forced to not drink by your probation officer is another. It’s become quite clear that Kim Richards isn’t ready to give up drinking yet!
Kim Richards could face jail time if convicted, and a pretrial court date has been set for September 14th. Lets hope and pray that Kim Richards can actually show up to court this time…. sober of course!
