Unless you live under a rock, we pretty much saw this one coming. Earlier this week Real Housewives of New York City’s MaMa Bear herself Heather Thomson revealed that she would not be returning next season to the show that made her famous. Thomson was on only on the show for three seasons, however she easily stole the hearts of many. The Yummy Tummy Entrepreneur was rumored to have been fired from the show, after well a very annoying season.
During the most recent season of the Real Housewives of New York City, Heather Thomson could be seen battling it out with the returning Bethenny Frankel. Sadly this ultimately lead to her downfall, like many who battle it out with Bethenny (just ask Jill Zarin,) the Queen of NYC made viewers see only ugly in her opponent which certainly didn’t help Heathers chances of being signed on for another season.
Heather Thomson recently released the following statement, “The reality of it that I just can’t do it anymore. I have to focus on the things that are really, really important in my life and that’s my family and my business. While I’m filming the show I also am running a multi-million dollar business, and it takes away a lot of my time from the company.”
Heather continues to explain that she feels like the show has come full circle for her, thus helping her to decide not to return. Heather explains that her third year on the show, helped her learned a lot about the other ladies, and she feels like she’s had only positive experiences on the show. She thanks fans and producers for giving her this opportunity on the Reality TV show, and feels like her experience was amazing while it lasted.
It’s been rumored for months that Heather Thomson would be leaving the Real Housewives of New York City in order to further focus on her growing company Yummy Tummy.
