The Real Housewives of Orange County held its finale on Monday night and it was full of drama, fighting and tears! While Vicki Gunvalson had remained radio silent over the past few weeks/months, that changed when Vicki appeared on Watch What Happens Live Monday night. Now that Vicki Gunvalson has resurfaced, she is back to writing a blog for Bravo TV and of course it’s full of drama!
Vicki Gunvalson began her first blog in months but describing how difficult it was for her to watch the lunch date she had with Shannon on a few weeks ago. These two ladies in one day went from BFF’s to Frenemies, and Vicki claims that her falling out with Shannon Beador breaks her heart (maybe you should apologize then Vicki.) While Gunvalson finally realizes that Shannon had Brooks Ayers best interests at heart by trying to get him into her doctor, Vicki reveals the truth…. and that is that the decision really is up to Brooks Ayers. He shouldn’t be cornered into seeing a doctor, if he already has one that he feels like works!
Vicki Gunvalson reveals that she actually removed herself from his medical decisions because it was creating too much drama. What is surprising is that while she claims she thinks Brooks Ayers really does have cancer, she at the same time reveals that she has no idea for sure. Vicki Gunvalson claims that during their last few months together, he was really private about his cancer. He didn’t really share details about what was going on, which is probably because he doesn’t actually have cancer but that’s my opinion…not Vickis.
Vicki Gunvalson is sick to her stomach about the whole does Brooks Ayers have cancer storyline because in reality people don’t actually question people’s “private” health. But again when you are on a reality TV show, anything is fair game… you kind of signed both yourself and Brooks up for that when you signed the contract. Its sad… it’s not right… but it’s true.
Considering that Tamra Judge revealed in her blog that she has cut Vicki Gunvalson out of her life this week, it comes to no surprise that Vicki Gunvalson would throw her under the bus too. Gunvalson mentions how Tamra claimed on the Dr. Oz show that she had cervical cancer, which was the first time she heard of it…. and then it was never talked about again. She wonders why no one asked her to see medical proof about it, and while she believe Tamra she finds it a little sketchy that Tamra never discussed it again.
Vicki Gunvalson still feels like she did nothing wrong to Shannon Beador, she claims that she told her brother privately and it was not in a malicious manner. She also reveals that Tamra Judge actually told all the ladies about David’s affair last year and even revealed the mistress’s name at a diner party, it just wasn’t shown on TV. Gunvalson is under the impression that because of this; all of the ladies knew about David’s affair and Shannon was well aware that they all did as well.
Vicki Gunvalson also defends her brother Billy’s girlfriend Ronda. She claims that Ronda had overheard Shannon Beador asking Vicki for more proof about Brooks Ayers cancer, and that is what lead to her asking Shannon for proof about her husband’s affair. Vicki stands by her word, and claims that she did not ask Ronda to defend her or to attack Shannon although both Tamra and Shannon feel otherwise.
Gunvalson further explains that she never told the other housewives about David’s affair, and she never mentioned it once during filming. She considers herself to be a good friend, and doesn’t see how her telling her brother about it in private makes her a bad friend. Lastly Gunvalson does reveal that she feels like she handled the ladies questioning Brooks Ayers cancer in a bad way. She now understand that the ladies were just looking out for her and if she could she would have responded differently.
