Lets be honest here, last nights episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County was a complete and utter bore. Seriously I think I fast forwarded through almost…well all of it. The episode was so boring, I couldn’t even see the point in writing a recap. The only exciting part was seeing Vicki Gunvalson freak out on her daughter Briana. Seriously nothing else fucking happen, (besides Eddie getting all pissed at Tamra for “helping” her son.)
Briana Gunvalson (I know she got married but she will always be a Gunvalson in my head,) made her epic return to the Real Housewives of Orange County last night. Just like every time she appears on the show she stole the spotlight from her mother Vicki, and all of the other housewives. Everytime I see Briana I picture the season eight reunion, where Lydia runs off the stage, and Brooks finally admits to telling Briana’s husband to beat her. Well I actually don’t recall if he actually admitted it, but damn it was very clear that he did say those words.
Anyway Briana and Vicki are having a good time, Vicki is shown the Tornado Shelter, and I don’t know about you guys but I pictured something from Twister. However Twisters shelter apparently was a mansion, because Briana’s tornado shelter can barely fit her family. Thank god I don’t live near any tornado’s because damn I would be totally Claustrophobic.
Now to the real drama of the episode! Briana informs the audience that while she would love nothing more than to move back to Orange County, it will never happen as long as “Mr. Cancer Faker” Brooks Ayers is in their family home. Briana reveals to the audience something we all already know, Brooks Ayers is a horrible person who is not allowed to be around her kids. And well do you really blame her?
When these two Gunvalson’s get into discussing Briana’s trip to Orange County in a few weeks, all hell breaks loose. Briana informs her mother that she and her family will be staying at a hotel, which pisses Vicki off. Vicki tells Briana that Brooks Ayers won’t be in the house because he is on vacation, but Briana doesn’t care. She wants her mother to understand that she made a choice to stay with Brooks, and will have to live with the consequences. Fair enough, right?
Briana questions why her mother just bought her a new car, and asks if it’s because Vicki wants to silence her! At this point Vicki is furious and informs Briana that they should be talking about this off camera and not on camera. Which probably is the first time Bravo TV actually aired someone saying that!
“She’s thinking it’s going to make Brooks look bad if my family is forced to stay in a hotel,” Briana reveals in her confessional. “So I feel like my mom would rather me be the bad guy than Brooks look bad for another minute.”
While Vicki rushes inside, Briana is just shocked at her mothers reaction. Vicki kicks the camera people out of her house, although she does forget to take her mic off. So while everything isn’t be tapped on camera, it is still being records. Luckily we are able to hear their argument! Check it out in the clip below!
