We revealed a few months ago that with the departure of NeNe Leakes from the Real Housewives of Atlanta that producers were desperately searching for a new castmate that would be light back into the dying Atlanta franchise.
Ultimately producers came across Amiyah Scott, who is transgender. With the growing popularity that Caitlyn Jenner has possessed, Transgender issues are becoming a more normal issue to talk about.
It’s really sad that in 2015 Transgender people are being attacked daily. It’s clear that being born in the wrong body is a horrible thing to have to experience. Nobody should be judged based on a biological problem that they did not ask for.
Do we attack people with depression because their chemicals in their brains are off? Of course not, and we simply should not judge or attack someone who was born in the wrong body.
Although I am an activist for the LGBTQ community, I find it a bit odd that Atalanta would cast a transgender woman right after Caitlyn Jenner came out with her transition. It looks to me like producers are trying to, or hoping to, get some media attention for their newest cast mate.
I really do hope I’m wrong but it looks to me like Amiyah Scott’s arrival is directly linked with the growing popularity of Transgender issues, due to the coming out of Caitlyn Jenner.
Now on to the juicy shit, it comes to no surprise that the Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies have had their own fair share of criminal activity. Whether it’s directly linked with a housewife, or linked to their spouse/BF ect.
Radar Online revealed earlier this week that the Real Housewives of Atlanta’s newest castmember Amiyah Scott has a criminal record of her own. Both in her female form, and her past life as a male.
When Amiyah was still going by her birth name Arthur, she was arrested and ultimately charged with felony theft, because well after being pulled over for going through a stop signs, police found out that the vehicle Arthur was in was actually stolen!
Don’t worry the criminal activity doesn’t end there, the following year in 2007 she was arrested for forging a check. While attempting to purchase a new dog, Amiyah was caught using a stolen check to purchase the dog. Once again Amiyah worked her magic and like her previous arrest a plea deal was decided on.
Did you think her criminal record would end there? Well of course it doesn’t. Amiyah Scott was arrested once again after an altercation with a neighbor of hers, this time she was under the name Adrienne, which i’m assuming was the name she had picked for her transition before she ultimately decided on using Amiyah.
